A CHOIR of amateur singers are set to hit a high note when it takes to the stage for its West End debut.

Muswell Hill's casual choir The Angels of Kaos will sing everything from folk to jazz songs at The Drill Hall in Chenies Street, central London.

Spokeswoman Marcella Hampson said: "The Angels have performed at a variety of events, from school fairs to Alexandra Palace, but now they are about to make their West End debut."

The Angels formed in 2002 and initially practiced at members' houses before moving into a more formal rehearsal space at the Great Northern Railway Tavern in High Street Hornsey.

The choir was co-founded by Suzy Davies, a composer and musician who lives in Muswell Hill, and they regularly perform to raise funds for The Kaos Signing Choir for Deaf and Hearing Children.

To book tickets, call 0207 307 5060 or go to www.drillhall.co.uk.
